Chateau Pontet Canet 2004 has a deep ruby color. Aromas of red dark fruits, currants, cherries, blackberries, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, and tobacco. On the palate it is medium bodied and very firm, with a hint of dried herbs and a hint of dark tar. The tannins are finely and unexpectedly surrounded by intense black fruit flavours that form the finish.
