The 2013 Animo is 81.6% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Petit Verdot making up the rest. The wine is an opaque purplish red with blueberry and blackberry liqueur sweetness mixed with liquorice, pencil shavings and some subtle new oak. It is full-bodied, pure, rich and impressive. A powerful wine that can be kept for 15 years or more.
