Domaine de la Romanee-Conti (DRC for short) is one of the most well-known and most expensive wineries in Burgundy, France.
The winery has 25 hectares of vineyards, distributed in the Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits production areas. It has a total of 8 top vineyard wines: La Rimanne-Conti, La Tache, Richebourge, Romanee-Saint-Vivant, Grand Echezeaux, Montrachet , each bottle is a combination of excellent brewing factors, such as the winery using low-yield old vine grapes for brewing, coupled with careful care and strict selection, to transform the unique terroir into the wonderful flavor in the bottle.
DRC’s wines are usually known for their thickness, complexity and amazing storage potential, but more often than not, what attracts people is the rarity and mystery within them, which makes people want to find out.
Montrachet is often considered the best white wine in the world, and it
amazingly condenses all the qualities of a great white wine from Burgundy. These
wines have a lovely bright gold color, rich and complex aromas of walnuts and
honey, are full, firm but soft, and have a rich and persistent flavour. The
complexity and concentration of this wine are so high that it took many years
to achieve perfection. When the Montrachet reaches its peak, it develops a rich
flavor.
