Chateau Cheval Blanc 2018 is a deep purple-black wine. The nose is dominated by excellent floral and fruity aromas reminiscent of raspberries and violets. Fruity aromas are more intense, with aromas of black cherries, blackberries and currants. With temptation, a series of fragrant spice, floral and earthy notes emerge, followed by candied violets, star anise, ground cinnamon, iron ore, tapenade and truffle, and bursts of camphor and mocha. Medium to full-bodied, firm on the palate but with a beautiful velvety tannin structure. Dense, complex, fragrant fruit with seamless freshness and very long layers, impressive. The plot is coherent, deep, long, firm, perfectly wrapped, and refined.
